Today chalkboard still is an essential part of the education field, and it has a wide use for different people, so let’s talk about the history of blackboard.

Blackboards have play a role in educational for centuries. And now it has a long history that most of people easily to recognize. The earliest chalkboard is made of individual slate or slate-like boards, which students used as a less expensive substitute for pen and paper. Most records say that the first mounted blackboard in classroom is found in Scotland in the early 1800s, and then it was soon spread to the United States and the rest of the world because their slate is more easily to exploit and utilize.

The history of the blackboard has also taken some modern twists and turns. In spite of today's slab preparation, the most modernized blackboard is made up with composite material that is easier to clean and maintain. Today, some scholars find easily a chalkboard that is a steel sheet enameled with porcelain rather than true slate. Chalk, which is a limestone derivative, is the most common writing implement, and the rag erasers of earlier times have largely been replaced by blocks of felt that can erase chalk marks without creating as much airborne dust. Many schools and businesses have also fazed them out entirely in favor of cleaner “whiteboards,” which are usually made entirely of synthetics.

Concerned about allergies and other potential health risks in the 1990s, the advent of chalk dust has prompted changes of blackboard and white board. The white board is a type of plastic board, sometimes referred to as a "dry erase board," in which people create colored markers with special pens. These may be a cleaner and brighter alternative to education and business interests.
