Slide playground is one of the most popular playing equipment for children. Therefore, the safety of the slide is very important.
The following are the design requirements of slide fences:
1. Children's slides should be fenced to prevent children from climbing, crossing and falling. The fence should comply with relevant regulations.
2. When the height of platform is higher than 50 cm, fencing should be installed for children's slide which is easily accessible to young children. When the height of the platform is higher than 100 cm, fencing should be installed for children's slides which are not easily accessible to young children.
3. According to the regulations, fences should be installed around the platform except for the necessary imports and exports. If there is no barrier across the exit, the maximum width of the entry and exit of the barrier should be less than or equal to 50 cm. If there is a barrier across the exit, the width of the entry and exit of the barrier can be greater than 50 cm, but should be less than or equal to 120 cm. If the fence has a guardrail leading to steep climbing equipment, the maximum width of the guardrail opening should be less than or equal to 120 cm. For stepped, ramp and bridge corridors, because such equipment has its own fence, the width of the fence should not be greater than the width of the above components. The heights of fences on platforms, stairs and slopes should be no less than 70 cm. The cross-sectional dimensions of fences or guardrails shall meet the required grip requirements.
