Climbing structure is a basic activity for children to develop their mobility. By climbing, children can learn to control their bodies, master balance and the coordination of hands and feet. Because climbing is a child's nature, climbing facilities should be set up in playgrounds to encourage children to climb safely. A simple climbing frame facility consists of fixed objects. For example, three-dimensional structure, there are grasp or foot slope, etc. Soft materials, such as ropes, are often found in climbing equipments. At any time, children will like some large-scale climbing frame, which is also the reason that many types of climbing play equipment can be seen in many playgrounds.
Slow slopes or low rockeries naturally arouse children's interest in climbing. In order to better meet the requirements, grippers and pedals should be added to the surface of the climbing facilities. For example, steel and wood structures are often used in arch structures, curved roof structures, horizontal railings, guardrails and similar structures. Climbing slider can also slide down from above. In this kind of structure, the surface of slider should be absolutely smooth, and the weld marks and cracks should be eliminated. The sliding section should be kept in the same direction and not be changed in any direction.
2. Climbing Rope Network
Climbing rope network facility requires more skill than a climbing frame facility. The soft rope can be fixed on one side or on both sides. Whether single or reticulate, the surface of the soft rope should be smooth without protrusion. The joints between the ropes should be strengthened to avoid sliding at the joints. Unconnected ropes should be kept rigid to avoid being wound together. The recommended diameter of one fixed soft rope is between 25 and 45 mm, and the other is between 18 and 45 mm. Cables provide a design alternative to soft ropes and meshes. The steel cables should be wrapped with a layer of natural materials, of course, artificial materials can also be used. The cables should be electroplated and rigid to avoid bending, deformation and jointing. These facilities should also be rust-proof.
